The “Must be enabled” option is new in version 5.4.3 and is only available for “Single Press” macros where the target of the press is a regular button or an easily recognizable link in a web page. That is now possible without any workarounds thanks to this new addition to the “Identifying the Target” page: That could take anything from a few seconds to a few minutes, and I’d like PTFB to monitor and press the OK button the instant it becomes available. When you’ve done that, the software goes into high gear as it scans the source photos, and it doesn’t enabled the OK button – which must be pressed to start the actual merge – until it is ready. The following screen pops up allowing you to specify (“Add”) the images that are to be blended: Let’s say you start a new “focus merge” – this is where multiple photographs are blended to create a single image with a deep region of sharp detail. One such case occurs in my favorite image editing software Affinity Photo. Sometimes when automating a task you need to wait for a variable amount of time before the next step becomes available.
